The Breadbox Bakery and Studio is located at the Carlswald Decor Centre in Midrand and is not just a bakery. It's an experiential space, a fun interactive cooking/baking and dining experience. We have the best of both worlds: a retail shopfront and a cooking studio. It’s like an oven, but better.
Incorporated in 2017 with baked goods as our main offering. Opened our retail shopfront in 2018. In 2020, we added the cooking studio before the pandemic lockdown. We extended our offering to include cooking and baking classes for both adults and kids. A natural extension of the business has been to add the food preparation for various clients and events. We are now embarking on packaged premixes to make baking easy for our clients
Our bakery and coffee shop is the perfect place to enjoy a quiet breakfast or cup of coffee. The delicious smell of freshly baked goods creates a relaxing atmosphere that is perfect for a meal or meeting. Our selection of baked goods includes traditional favorites like muffins, croissants, scones, magwinya, doughnuts, chocolate brownies, jam tarts, cheese cakes, sandwiches and biscuits. We also offer a variety of hot and cold drinks to suit any taste.
For memorable experiences centered around mealtimes, this is an ideal place. It’s a learning place for both kids and adults rewarded with tasty food experiences. A place to experiment and develop food experiences and a place to build relationships while creating memorable meal-time experiences.
Our unique baking/cooking classes are designed to get everyone involved in the process of making something delicious together! Ideal for kids as well as work teams to bond and learn together.
