The South African Council for Business Women (SACBW)
The South African Council for Business Women (SACBW) is a non-profit organisation founded in 1988 by Rika Venter to recognises the accomplishments of outstanding women in business. The council was established with the intention and goal to create an organisation that represents women in business and create a vehicle for women to network, learn from each other, grow and mentor other women in the field of business.
The business landscape constantly changes and the empowerment of women in business is important for growth, development, and progress. We find ourselves in an era where new technologies affect our lives and impact the way we do business; an era with new challenges and opportunities. As businesswomen, we need to assess where we are, set new goals and find partners as we journey on in pursuit of greatness!
Our slogan “Unlocking potential” is key to this organisation as it is the explicit goal to see women grow to their full potential, reach their goals and succeed in business.
Join the SACBW and be equipped, educated, and empowered as we embrace change and unite against gender-based bias in the workplace.
