SATSA Gauteng is a Chapter of the Southern Africa Tourism Services Association (SAATSA), based in Rosebank, Johannesburg. We are the Voice of Inbound Tourism, representing private-sector stakeholders in Southern Africa’s inbound tourism sector. Established in 1969, SATSA is a non-profit, member-driven association representing the region’s tourism private sector, including:
At SATSA, we strive to maintain our three key qualities in all the work we do: credibility, value and authority. SATSA is a member-driven, non-profit association representing the private sector. Our members share our values of Credibility, Integrity and Stability. SATSA further provides support to members who require key services and benefits on a local and regional level, and at international trade shows. The organisation also lobbies issues associated and affecting the inbound tourism industry.
To become a SATSA member, a business must prove annually that they adhere to the highest standards of professionalism and service.
SATSA has also established the SATSA Bonding Scheme (a consumer protection scheme to provide guarantees against deposits held with SATSA member), guaranteeing its quality assurance role for years to come.
