Meridian Pinehurst High School is an independent Meridian school in Pinehurst, Durbanville that offers high-quality education for learners from Grade 8 to Grade 12. With controlled class sizes, dedicated teachers and focused sports and cultural activities, we try to ensure affordable school fees without compromising our academic standards, 21st-century skills or our enhanced curriculum. Our learners also benefit from using tablets in class (2-in-1 devices) as part of our approach to teaching and learning.
MeridianHigh is an English medium school. Currently on campus we have a Nursery (3 months - Group 5), Foundation Phase (Grade R - 3), Primary School (Grade 4 - 7) and High School (Grade 8 - 12).
As a Meridian school, we believe that participation in activities plays an important role in promoting health, discipline, self-confidence and community. Therefore, our variety of activities are designed to help learners discover their inherent talents, or to broaden their exposure beyond their current reference framework. Some of our activities are aimed at boosting learners’ cognitive abilities, while others provide pure enjoyment. These activities are generally included in our affordable school fees, unless otherwise stated.
As a Meridian school, our school is managed by Curro as part of a joint venture with Old Mutual and the Public Investment Corporation.
