Hope Restoration Ministries (HRM) Kempton Park
Hope Restoration Ministries (HRM) was founded 2001 in Chloorkop, Kempton Park by Rev. Siphiwe & Pastor Phindile Mathebula and is a church for all ages, groups, races and cultures. It is a church that does not discriminate and where everybody, irrespective of their background or religious inclination is welcome to fellowship at. Our church is working in partnership with believers from every denomination to see communities won for Christ. Our belief is that we will also see expansion of the Christian Church in our day in South Africa and world-wide.
Siphiwe Christopher Mathebula received the vision for HRM in 1995 while he was still as student Pastor at the Cape College of Theology. God instructed him to restore hope to His people. In January 2001, after serving as an Assistant Pastor for 5 years and a member of the Baptist Community Church for 13 years, Siphiwe and Phindile started HRM. Through God’s grace, we have seen rapid growth with expansion campuses in Tembisa, Roodepoort, Midrand, Ivory Park and Springs. HRM has established several dynamic ministries that are designed to reach, touch and restore lives around the world..
The sole basis of our beliefs is the Bible, God’s infallible written Word, the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments. We believe that it was uniquely, verbally and fully inspired by the Holy Spirit and that it was written without error (inerrant) in the original manuscripts. It is the supreme and final authority in all matters on which it speaks.
Our Vision: Restoring Hope to Our World
Our Mission: Empowering every believer to become a disciple
Our Goals: To be a place where those who are often despised and rejected can flee to, experience the Love of God and are made whole.
