Following the success of our Magazine, Radio Life & Style 88FM took to the airwaves with Ballito’s first commercial radio station broadcasting from a custom-designed studio in the heart of the Ballito Lifestyle Centre, the busiest shopping destination in Ballito. The FM signal is limited to our region but the radio station is also carried digitally across all mobile platforms capable of audio streaming, taking the voice of Ballito to the world.
Former Radio 5FM presenter and award winning Specialist Television Producer, Dave Charles, and his Art Director wife, Sue, created Life & Style Magazine, a regular lifestyle publication in newsprint specifically aimed at the trendy, affluent, discerning reader, and have continued to develop it with a growing team of regular contributors. The publication was specifically designed to give advertisers direct access to the upper LSM market in the region and it has been a great success. This Life & Style media brand was established in 2004 to cater for the rapidly growing community in the Ballito region of KZN.
Life & Style’s growth and innovation since inception has resulted in us comfortably claiming the title of leading independent multimedia brand in the region. Starting as a print media brand offering a high-quality lifestyle magazine in a newsprint format, Life & Style has evolved to include a groundbreaking mix of media products that includes this popular local radio station – Radio Life & Style 88FM Ballito – as well as a thriving directory magazine: the BizBook.
