The Ballito Urban Improvement Precinct (UIP) The Ballito Urban Improvement Precinct ( UIP ) is a legislated and representative body that works closely with the KwaDukuza Municipality ( KDM ) to collectively manage public space in Ballito to grow and sustain property values, ensure business prosperity and create a high quality of life for all the area’s users. The UIP levy is collected via the municipal rates system and paid over monthly to the UIP . The UIP aims to: ~ Retain existing investment and build investor confidence ~ Create an environment which supports vibrant and responsible business activity ~ Improve safety, the general environment and quality of life for the benefit of all ~ Respond to the challenge of environmental sustainability
