Simbithi Country Club incorporates a selection of eateries, wedding and conference venues and, of course, the unparalleled 18-hole Executive Golf Course. Also located at the Country Club is the Simbithi Office Park, managed by the Simbithi Commercial Zone Management Association.
The jewel of the Simbithi Country Club is undoubtedly the magnificent 18-hole golf course, designed by Peter Matkovich. Thoughtfully-placed greens that hold a well-struck shot, pristine fairways and a layout that allows you to play every club in your bag. South Africa’s first executive course, Simbithi has a par of 60 comprising par-3s, par-4s and one par 5. Each hole is intriguingly named after the area it occupied when Simbithi was once farmland.
We also have an exquisite restaurant, the Fig Tree Restaurant, in our club-house and it is a place of community, family and relaxation. At the Fig, couples enjoy romantic dinners, families gather over lunch and strangers leave as friends. Venture across to the Drop Zone Bar after a round of golf for drinks, or enjoy sundowners with friends after work. The Fig Tree is open to the public.
Our Gymnasium offers a bespoke fitness experience to our residents. Having undergone a substantial renovation and revamp in early 2019, the Gymnasium boasts cardio, functional and free-weight sections; and a studio. The Gymnasium is located at the edge of the Country Club pool, facing the tennis courts and is open to all residents of Simbithi Eco-Estate.
