Christ for Moot vir Christus (CMC) wants to create networks with other ministries, churches and schools for the betterment of the community. Our main aim is to create a platform where individuals from all walks of life within a certain community can come for restoration, upliftment and support.
CMC encourages the integration of various ministries, churches and schools for maximum impact and strives to, through authentic care and collaboration, make a difference in our community.
Pastor Japie Venter from Doxa Deo Moot and chairperson of the CMC said the movement consists of a variety of church denominations. “We want to take ownership of people of the Moot via the churches,” he said. “Everyone works together for a dream and the purpose is to serve the community and to uplift the community in the ministry.”
Under the slogan “Together we are better”, the group emphasised the importance of the network of churches, schools and the community, said spokesperson Herman Bouwer. CMC focused on partnerships with organisations and ministries such as the police, HospiVisie, Echo Youth Development and Eléhos. CMC also aims to become involved in the upliftment and physical, social and spiritual well-being of the people of Melgisedek, who have been living in extremely harsh conditions for many years.
